Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated this year with great spectacle and splendour. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.
